.:( MO3 Fileformat Petition ):.
John Marwin has started a petition to Ian Luck, asking him to release the fileformat spec for the MO3 module format. For those who may not know the format, it is a module with MP3 or OGG compressed samples, allowing for a high quality to filesize ratio.
The specs' release would allow more players and more websites to support this revolutionary format, thus allowing it to grow in popularity and become one of the "standard" module formats.

Another news comes from SoLoRiZe: "It is with regret that I have to inform you all that I will be closing down 'CGM UKScene Radio', broadcast and website due to personal reasons. I would like to thank all listeners and artists that have made running the station a pleasure. One bit of good news is that once I have sorted things out we WILL be back, but at the moment I do not know when this will be. Once again thanks to everyone who has been part of the station."

.:( Art Scene News ):.
SAC art pack has been delayed for a long time but valentines day might be its releasing date.
Coolphat has released its art pack 15 a few weeks ago and in the beginning of february 2005 it will release the mp3 pack number 3, and soon after that their disk number 6 (an oldskool MusicDisk with chiptunes and also some newskool mixes).
A new demo/art team called TiTAN has been up for a few weeks now. It is composed of ex-Bafh people, ex-ArtCore members and other new comers to the scene as well as some coders or programmers from some scene. It hasn't released anything yet, but rumour has it that they are planning to release their 1st art pack, some cracktro and a music disk.
DualTrax of CRO is also planning a music disk of his own with new old tunes by him and guest releasers. The work process goes slowöy but it is in a progress. Dfs.art and other art teams like TiTAN are in lack of ASCII Artists, many of them have joined CRO and SAC... or quit the scene totally.

.:( Israeli Scene ):.
Will the Israeli scene revivial happen? That's a big question. Lately some of the former and the few currently productive people of the local Israeli demo/artscenes have met on the Internet and have been talking about seeing each other. But it might be a long way to rebuild the scene, so now it is all about talking, but something might happen in the next few months... They're still "talking" about some meeting.
